We were called and asked to repair stucco. Upon further inspection, it was determined that the lintel was failing and called for a replacement from a wooden lintel to a 5/8 inch steel lintel.
This required us to demo out the existing stucco, replace and repair lintel, and reinstall new stucco.
During this part of the process, we removed the existing stucco and determined what caused the stucco to fail.
While we performed the demo, we maintained a clean and safe job site.
We used a two coat system, which includes a scratch coat before applying the final coat.
You can see that process here.
At Desert Starr Masonry, we believe in doing things the right way, even if that means spending a little extra time. Our goal as masons is to create long-lasting structures, saving our clients time and money in the long run.
We are very happy with how this residential stucco project turned out, and our client was too!
